Solo Strings were formed in 1994 to provide a refined and tasteful backdrop for those special occasions.

All members of Solo Strings are graduates of the Royal Northern College of Music and are also professional freelance musicians employed by many of the national orchestras guaranteeing music of the highest standard.

Having performed at over 1000 weddings, Civil Partnership ceremonies, parties and corporate events, their wealth of experience has, without fail, provided 100% satisfaction.

Solo Strings have a wide ranging repertoire encompassing many styles from light jazz to classical favourites and even arrangements of contemporary pop and rock songs.
